These are the most common woods that I use for my projects, but I can get many more species of wood. They are reasonably priced and available in large enough pieces to build bigger pieces and furniture. If you would like a different or specific species use din your piece, please let me know!

Ash - Light in color, contrasts well with other woods. Beautiful grain that stands out and accepts stain and oil exceptionally well. Ash is durable and inexpensive.

Red Oak - Beautiful golden color that goes well with all shades of brown. Red Oak has been a staple of furniture building for decades now because of its workability and beautiful tones with oil and stain.

Hard Maple - Long-lasting and hearty, Hard Maple is a very hard and durable species of wood often used in furniture. Modestly priced, but built to last.

Walnut - Beautiful and bold species of wood that stands out against other species. Often used to accent or border a piece. Premium pricing.

Purpleheart - Vibrant, beautiful shades of purple that turn any piece into a work of art. Often used as an accent. Premium Pricing.

Padauk - Bright orange wood from Africa, Padauk cannot be missed. Bold accent, truly stands out. Premium Pricing
